Identify the appliance
A brand name alone does not establish the installation requirements. Tell us whether the product is a freestanding gas cooker, separate gas hob, gas oven or dual-fuel appliance. Send the model and product instructions, plus photos of accessible fittings without disturbing them.
Scope and price
Freestanding cooker installation is £92.50 for the agreed standard 45-minute scope. Gas hob installation starts from £164.50. Suitability and any additional work must be confirmed before payment. Pipework changes, electrical work, parts and disposal are only included where expressly agreed.
Existing appliance and available space
Explain whether an old appliance needs disconnecting and whether the replacement is built in or freestanding. Product dimensions, surrounding space and accessible services need review. Do not move heavy equipment or disconnect gas fittings yourself.
Independent installation service
Heating People is independent; this page does not imply manufacturer approval, warranty repair cover or a partnership with Bush. Gas work requires an engineer qualified for the relevant appliance. Manufacturer requirements and the actual installation determine the work that can be agreed.
Booking, access and payment
Heating People operates from Leyton. The postcode, requested work and availability are reviewed before a visit is agreed. Provide the landlord or agent who authorises and pays, as well as the occupier contact where different. Where required, parking is £10 per hour; key collection is £15, or £30 for collection and return. Once you have paid, your booking is confirmed. A two-hour arrival window can be confirmed on the day.
