Powermax boiler repair enquiries.
For a Potterton or Powermax appliance, identify the complete model and explain the fault before booking. The model, condition, available technical information and suitable parts need review before repair work can be agreed.
The model matters
Send the exact wording from accessible appliance paperwork or the model label, along with the displayed fault and symptoms. Do not remove panels to obtain information.
Powermax is not enough information to select parts or instructions. Provide the full model and any existing service or repair records so the enquiry can be reviewed correctly.
Manufacturer information and safety action
Ask the manufacturer to confirm any outstanding model- or serial-specific safety action and current support route. Follow instructions already issued for your appliance; do not assume that a notice for one model applies to every Powermax.
Heating People is independent. We review the specific appliance before agreeing suitable attendance and do not claim that all models can be repaired or that every component remains available.
Diagnostic visit and further work
The diagnostic visit is £92.50 for the first 45 minutes. Minor adjustments may be possible within that time. Parts, extended investigation and further work are priced separately before proceeding; a completed repair is not guaranteed within the initial visit.
The findings determine whether a further repair proposal is appropriate. Component availability and the condition of the appliance can limit the options. Existing faults and proposed additional work are discussed before a separate price is accepted.
If replacement is an option
A separate survey and proposal are needed before recommending a replacement. The heating and hot-water arrangement, property requirements and access are reviewed rather than assuming a direct swap.
Access and booking
Send the full address and postcode, symptoms, appliance details and access contact. Heating People operates from Leyton; the job, location and availability are reviewed before a visit is agreed. For a rented property, identify the person who authorises and pays as well as the occupier.
Where required, parking is £10 per hour. Key collection is £15, or £30 for collection and return. Tell us about permits, keys and any restricted access before the price is confirmed.
For a paid visit, Heating People reviews the scope and price before issuing a quote or invoice for advance payment. Once you have paid, your booking is confirmed. A two-hour arrival window can be confirmed on the day.
