What a filter is for
A suitable heating-system filter can capture circulating debris, including magnetic corrosion particles. Its type, position and compatibility need review for the actual system. A filter does not repair a failed pump, leaking radiator or other existing mechanical fault.
Installation requirements
Tell us about any existing filter and provide its make and model if known. Access, pipework arrangement and product instructions affect the proposal. Parts, pipework alterations and any cleaning or treatment are priced for the agreed scope.
Maintenance and system cleaning
Filters need maintenance in accordance with their instructions. Ask whether filter inspection or cleaning is included when booking a boiler service; do not assume every visit includes it. A filter is not automatically a substitute for investigation or any separately recommended system cleaning.
Price and next steps
Installation and maintenance are quoted for the requested work. If a diagnostic visit is needed first, it is £92.50 for the first 45 minutes; parts and further work are separate. No fixed energy saving, extended boiler life or manufacturer warranty outcome is guaranteed.
Booking, access and payment
Heating People operates from Leyton. The postcode, requested work and availability are reviewed before a visit is agreed. Provide the landlord or agent who authorises and pays, as well as the occupier contact where different. Where required, parking is £10 per hour; key collection is £15, or £30 for collection and return. Once you have paid, your booking is confirmed. A two-hour arrival window can be confirmed on the day.
